Bobby Rosengarden

Bobby Rosengarden (born July 20, 1932) is an American jazz drummer, percussionist, and bandleader, recognized for his contributions to the jazz genre, particularly in the big band and swing styles. He gained prominence as a versatile musician, collaborating with a myriad of notable artists throughout his career. Rosengarden is perhaps best known for his work with the legendary bandleader and musician, Benny Goodman, and for his appearances on television as part of the band for “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson,” where he played from 1962 to 1992.
